Jailbreak iPhone 3GS, 3G iOS 3.1.2 to 4.0.1 with JailbreakMe

Before you Begin:

• Update to latest iTunes
• Backup iPhone
• 
  
  
   Restore to iOS 4.0 or iOS 4.0.1
  
  

The Jailbreak

•        Open up Safari
•       Input the following URL: http://jailbreakme.com

       1) Slide to jailbreak

       2) Sit back and wait for the jailbreak data to download

       3) Once completed wait for the iPhone to jailbreak

r     4) When this popup appears you have successfully jailbroken your iPhone.

      5) To unlock your iPhone you will need to open Cydia, next tap "Manage", then "Sources", next open the source "repo666.ultrasn0w.com", Open "ultrasn0w" and install, you will need to restart your device when completed.

     *If that source is there add it by going to "Edit", then "Add", "repo666.ultrasn0w.com", once the source is installed open it, then install "UltraSn0w"
