That's right, unlimited free applications. Every application found in the regular AppStore can be downloaded and installed in the "Cracked" AppStore called Installous. You will never need to spend a dime again, if you're that kind of person. A lot of people will still purchase applications that they like just to support the creator. Installous allows you to test all the applications you want without running up your credit card bill.
SB Settings
SB Settings is a Cydia application, voted #1 in my books. Just by swiping your finger across the top toolbar you open the program. Note: You can do this from anywhere without disrupting what you doing at that time. This app offers a quick way to toggle on/off you Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, SSH. You can also quickly adjust your brightness. The last feature that I
find saves a ton of battery is the processes tab, similar to the task manager on Windows. You can see all the programs that are running, and close whatever you don't need. For instance when you check your mail, the mail application stays open sometimes in the background draining your battery, this is a quick way to clear off all of these battery leeching programs. Other features include hiding applications, dock, re-spring, and a power button. It also shows your Wi-Fi IP Address, Data IP Address, and your available memory.
3G Connection
Once you jailbreak your device you can use your iPhone as a modem. A lot of people have tethered their devices to laptops.
Gaming
You can play unlimited amounts of paid AppStore applications absolutely free. You can use the NES emulator to play all the old games or even use the PlayStation emulator to play several ported games including Doom.
Unlock your iPhone
If you are looking to unlock your phone to be able to use it with any SIM card, you first need to jailbreak your iPhone.
iReal SMS 3.0
iReal SMS 3.0 is the best text messaging application for the iPhone. It allows you to send or reply text messages no matter what you're doing without disrupting what you're doing. You can play games and reply a text message without closing your game, you can reply from the Safari browser without disrupting your surfing. Once you have replied, the previous apps resumes automatically from the point where you had left off.
DTunes
DTunes is an application available in Cydia. It allows you to download torrents and many other things. You can download music and movies directly to your iPhone or iPod Touch.
Video Recording
Once you jailbreak, you will be able to download one of several application that will allow you to turn your iPhone into a camcorder. Actually up to 30 frames per second! Pretty good so now you can download one of the many video recording application for free and start recording.

Jailbreaking is free of any risks and does not in any way void your warranty. You can simply restore your iPhone to its factory settings by using iTunes. And then, you are not the only one jailbreaking. So, go ahead, jailbreak your device.
